HIGH SPEED WEIGH IN MOTION

 

AT-HI TRAC 100 HSWIM
The AT-HI TRAC 100 high-speed weigh-in-motion and traffic data collection system records vehicle classification and axle load data without interruption to traffic flows. In the standard configuration, two piezo electric sensors and one induction loop are installed in the highway per lane of detection. The piezo electric sensors measure axle speeds and inter-axle spacing. The induction loop detects vehicle presence and measures the vehicle length. If Class 1 piezo electric sensors are employed, axle weight data can also be attained.

     

COUNTERS AND CLASSIFIERS

 

AT-HI TRAC 110 AVC
The AT-HI TRAC 110 high-speed traffic data collection system provides a low cost means of recording vehicle count and classification without interruption to traffic flows. The HI-TRAC 110 interfaces to up to eight piezo electric sensors and sixteen induction loop sensors installed in the highway. Although primarily a permanently, multi-lane, counter/classifier the HI-TRAC 110 can also be configured as a weigh-in-motion system with Class 1 piezo electric sensors installed.

 

T5-VPC

The T5-VPC Vehicle Profiling Classifier has been designed to take advantage of the current developments in technology enabling the production of a very competitively priced, high performance product that includes high-speed processing, flash memory and low power consumption.

The T5-VPC is a high accuracy loop profiling classifier that is compatible with existing installations allowing easy swap out of older systems. It has the capability to simply expand up to 16 lanes of

operation allowing the T5 to easily handle any loop based traffic counting scenario.



 

S5-SLC

The S5-SLC Single Loop Classifier uses the same technology as the T5 however the S5 has been designed to operate from a single loop array, this allows the S5 to not only count traffic on a single loop but also classify and record vehicle speed. This represents a massive step forward in counter classifier design. The S5 will produce 85th percentile speed reports and classify vehicles on a single loop count site.

The S5-SLC is compatible with existing count site installations allowing easy swap out of older systems. It has the capability to simply expand up to 32 lanes of operation.
 
 


     

RADAR COUNTER AND CLASSIFIER

 

AT-SR3 AVC
The AT-SR3 radar counter classifier provides a quick and safer way to carry out short-term traffic counts. The proven radar system is used to accurately measure the vehicle speed, length and gap between the vehicles on a vehicle-by-vehicle (VBV) basis. The unit is both laptop and pda compatible and is secured quickly and safely by one person using an adjustable pole clamp. This unit is GSM enabled & is suitable for temporary & permanent traffic counts.

 

AT-SR4 Bluetooth® Radar Counter Classifier
The new AT-SR4 radar counter classifier provides a quick and safer way to carry out short-term traffic counts. The proven radar system is used to accurately measure the vehicle speed, length and gap between the vehicles on a vehicle-by-vehicle (VBV) basis. The unit is both laptop and pda compatible and is secured quickly and safely by one person using an adjustable pole clamp.

     

CYCLE COUNTERS

 

C1-CYCLE COUNTER

The C1-Cycle Counter is designed to operate in a range of environments that cover segregated traffic lanes, cycle paths, cycle tracks and off road cycle trails.

The C1-Cycle Counter offers very low power operation allowing it to operate for up to 28 days from a standard 6 volt battery. The C1 has 4 inputs enabling 4 monitoring points to be counted and it only requires a single loop per lane. The C1 functions well in segregated traffic cycle lanes, its discriminating algorithm identifies cycles whilst rejecting other vehicle types.



 

AT-SR3 Cycle Counter
The AT-SR3 radar Cycle is used to monitor and record cycle frequency and provides accurate and detailed information on the direction, speed, date and time of bicycle flow. The unit is both laptop and pda compatible and is secured quickly and safely by one person using an adjustable pole clamp. The cycle counter can be deployed on dedicated cycle lanes as well as on roads with mixed cycle and vehicle traffic.

     

RADAR SPEED DISPLAY

 

AT-GR032 and AT-GR042 Bluetooth®
The interactive speed display is used to increase driver awareness by the displaying the speed that individual drivers are traveling at. The displays when used in conjunction with other Camera safety initiatives serve to promote attentiveness and contribute to road safety by reducing the vehicle speeds. The display can be used to log the vehicle flow which can then be used for evaluation of "Before and After" studies. "

     

SOFTWARE

 

AT-MicroDial Software

The MicroDial software is used for the setup of traffic monitoring equipment. Once set up the data can be retrieved either manually through the live traffic data view or through the stored data traffic view. The data can be retrieved automatically by setting up managed dialers within MicroDial to automatically retrieve the data through landline modems or through GSM modems. The retrieved data can then be used to automatically generate the required reports from the data.

AT-HI COMM 100 Software
The HI-COMM 100 database management analysis suite is used to collect traffic flow information from the HI-TRAC loop counter classifiers and for data analysis and a reporting. The software package also incorporates extensive equipment and sensor diagnostics capabilities. The complete range of HI-TRAC instruments can be interfaced with our real time mapping information system. This system is capable of delivering real time traffic flow information in a visual format.

 

AT-SR 5.1 Data Analysis Suite
The Applied Traffic SRA 5.1 data analysis and reporting software is simple to use and enables the operator to download files quickly and print a number of statistical tabular and graphical reports. The reporting package includes the comprehensive hypothecation report used by the UK Camera Safety Partnerships.

     

ROAD SIDE FURNITURE

 

AT-Cabinets and Plinths

The Applied Traffic cabinets and Plinths have been designed to give security and a safe operating environment for roadside electrical equipment. The tough epoxy coating protects the cabinet from abrasion and weather damage meaning cabinets will give years of service. Offered with a variety of options (internal heater, mains distribution assembly, solar panel and regulator) the cabinets are suitable for use in built up and rural locations.
